EDWARD FLEMING

Edward Fleming, 77, of 608 N. Jackson St., died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held by the graveside on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rhodes Cemetery. Bishop Gary Corbet will officiate.

Mr. Fleming died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

He was the son of the late Clarence and Lucille Fleming of Houma, La., and was a volunteer with the senior companion program at Cherry Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Fleming of the home; four brothers, Herman Fleming and Edison Fleming of Houma, La., Webster Fleming of Fairfield, Calif., and Markss Fleming of San Bernadino, Calif.; and five sisters, Maude Smith, Frances Fleming, Berthanell Prouch and Anna Bell Wesley of Houma, La., and Ora Fleming of Phoenix, Ariz.

The viewing hours are from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. today at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
