GENE WESTBROOK
John Eugene "Gene," "Skebo" Westbrook, 71, of Trollingwood Circle, died at his home on Monday.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Frances Westbrook of the home, and several sons, daughters and grandchildren.
Funeral services, conducted by Pastor Bill Garner and former Pastor Wayne Altman, will be held tonight at New Hope Friends Church, where Gene was a much-loved member. The services will begin at 7 with visitation to follow. Burial, with graveside services, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the New Hope Church Cemetery on Dollard Town Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Friends Church, 4451 US 70 E., Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
