MIKE SPENCE
Gerald Michael "Mike" Spence, 43, of 2201 Royall Ave., died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jimmy Whitfield and Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Spence was a native of Wayne County and was the son of Ruth Deans Spence of Goldsboro and the late Wilbert B. Spence.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Shirley Spence Prosser of Goldsboro; a brother Will Spence and wife, Lynn, of St. Augustine, Florida; a niece, Sonja DeBois; a nephew, Robert Blackman and a great nephew, Jordan Blackman.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Spence Moore.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to The First Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 1100 The First Church Road, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
