CARRIE BECTON
Carrie Lee Thompson Becton, 83, formerly of Pikeville, died Wednesday at the Howard University Hospital, Washington D.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nathaniel Becton; two sons, Charles Becton of Fort Washington, Md., and Juarez Newsome of Carpeteria, Calif.; and two sisters, Beatrice Newsome of Pikeville and Annie Wilder of Camp Springs, Md.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Faith Temple FWB #2, Seat Pleasant, Md. Pastor Bishop L.N. Forbes will officiate. Interment will be in Washington D.C.
