Billie Jean Kluttz Morelock Marr, 74, of 1301 Crisp Street died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Providence United Methodist Church. Dr. Jerry Jackson will officiate. A graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Marr was born on December 31, 1930, in Goldsboro to the late John Arthur and Bessie Cotton Kluttz. She retired from J.C. Penney's and was a long-time member of Providence United Methodist Church.

She is survived by husband, James E. "Jim" Marr of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Branny Vickory of Mount Olive, Maria and Greg Raynor of Goldsboro and Tammy and Kenneth Vann of Buies Creek; three stepchildren, Glenn L. Marr, Tracy A. Steele, and Amy Kaye Jones, all of Pennsylvania; her brother, John Robert "Cotton" Kluttz of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and her special friends and neighbors, Carolyn Parker and Nita Comer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Leon Vandal "Jack" Kluttz, and her husband, Jimmie Harold Morelock.

Pallbearers will be Kristopher Akhevein, Don Kluttz, John Kluttz, Terry Lee, Greg Raynor, Branny Vickory, James Vickory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834; the American Heart Association, 3015 S. Memorial Drive, S-A, Greenville, N.C., 27834; Providence United Methodist Church, 202 Providence Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530; or to the charity of one's choice.

The family will receive friends at Providence United Methodist Church following the service tonight, and other times at the home.

Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home.
