KEIMIT L. CAPPS

HERTFORD -- Keimit Lee Capps, 68, 675 Chapanoke Road, died Sunday at his residence.

He was born in Goldsboro to the late Joseph and Gladys Capps and was the husband of M. Delores Davis Capps. Mr. Capps was a school bus mechanic for the City Chesapeake, Va., and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Sebrina Yerger of Middleburg, Pa.; one son, Daniel Troy Capps of the home; five sisters, four brothers and three grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Harvey Parrish officiating.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Twiford's Memorial Chapel.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 404 Jessup St., Elizabeth City, N.C., 27909; or to the Albemarle Hospice, P.O. Box 189, Elizabeth City, N.C., 27907-0189.
