ELNA BIZZELL
Elna Gibbs Bizzell, 76, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 11:30 at Goldsboro Chapel. Pastor Justine Body will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park North.
Mrs. Bizzell was born on March 15, 1928, in Wayne County to the late Herman and Sarah Gibbs. She attended East End Elementary and Dillard High schools. She worked as a seamstress in New York until she retired.
She is survived by one daughter, Hope Braswell; two sisters, Ruth Williams of Goldsboro and Rosa Nichols of Chicago; and three grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
McIntyre Funeral Home is serving the family.
