LILLIAN LEGGETT
PINK HILL -- Lillian Rich Leggett, 81, of Pink Hill, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howard-Carter Funeral Home. The Rev. Alvin Keener will officiate.
Mrs. Leggett is survived by three daughters, Alice Wymer and husband William of Gretna, Va.; Elouise Hyatt and husband Neal of Cape Carteret and Virginia "Ginny" Thompson of Wilmington; one son, Rossie Thompson and wife Roberta of Currie; two sisters, Myrtle Harrison and husband Elton of Windsor and Maggie Hunnings of Trenton; two brothers. Melvin Rich and wife Dorothy of Deep Run and James "Pete" Rich and wife Kathy of Port Saint John, Fla.; and eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Friday night.
