RALPH L. HAWKINS
Ralph Lamar Hawkins, 60, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Hawkins was born in Malvern, Ala., to the late Bill and Ruth Merritt Hawkins.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Merrill and Bobbie Herring; and one brother, Earl Hawkins.
He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Patsy Hawkins of Graceville, Fla., and Billy and Jean Hawkins of Melvern, Ala.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jimmie L. and Jake Saranthus of Goldsboro and Annie R. Saunders of Destin, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Jake and Jimmie Saranthus, 516 U.S. Hwy. 13 South, Goldsboro.
