GERTRUDE SPEEDE
The funeral for Gertrude Juanita Speede, 86, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church. Father Tom Norris will preside. Burial will be in New York on Monday, Feb. 28.
She is survived by three sons, Luqman Abdelmagied, Michael L. Speede and Jamaal M. Speede; five daughters; Llona W. Speede, Jane Speede-Cox, Gertrude C. Speede, Mandaina M. Speede and Althea Speede-Jones; three sisters, Ruby Shaw, Daisy King and Deloris Casey; and 28 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Viewing hours will be from 1 until 6 p.m. today at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries. At other times the family will receive friends at 129 Mill Creek Court.
