SHIRLEY SHIFFLETT
Shirley Shifflett, 69, of 140 Challis Drive, Fremont, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A private service will be held.
She was born in Fairfax, Va., to the late Milton Lee and Grace Knight Wallace. She was retired from Wayne Memorial Hospital as an insurance claim adjuster.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Smith of Pikeville; one stepdaughter, Barbara Odom of Mount Airy; three sisters, Dorothy Virginia Hines of Virginia, Margaret Maxwell of Oklahoma and Mary Ellen Kornegay of Goldsboro; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family is being served by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
