RHEM BENDERS
A funeral service for Rhem A. Benders will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m., at Pilgrim Chapel FWB, Highway 55 West, Cove City. Burial will follow in the St. John AME Zion Church (Turkey Quarters), Highway 55 W.,Cove City. Pastor Rudolph Turnage will officiate. The Rev. Fred Manley will deliver the eulogy.
Mr. Benders is survived by his wife of 41 years, Johnnie Mae Benders; two daughters, Lori Gardner of Goldsboro, and Carolyn Hopkins of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four brothers, Albert Benders of New York, Alexander Benders of New York, Robert Benders of Goldsboro, and George Benders of New York; two grandchildren.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
