MADIE BROWNING

Madie McLamb Browning, 75, of 132 Ellis Drive, died Friday at her home.

A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie F. McLamb and Idella Raynor McLamb, and was married to the late M. Sgt. Reuben H. Browning.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Browning is survived by her sons, Dr. Charles Browning of California, Daniel T. Browning of Seven Springs and Johnny M. Browning of Goldsboro; her daughter, Rhonda M. Whray and husband, Eddie of Andrews, S.C.; her sisters, Ruby King of Durham, Mable Daughtry of Benson, Doris Conrad of Four Oaks, Katie Barbour of Waynesboro, Pa., Hilda Smith of Dunn and Grace Hargis of Garner; her grandchildren, Shauna Whray, Melissa Browning and Amanda Whray; her great-grandchild, Taylor Casselman.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
