ELLEN J. PERSON
Ellen Jones Person, 79, died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Person was born in Nash County to the late Charles Rufus Jones and Effie Frances Bailey Jones and was married to the late Lester "Chub" Person.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Manning officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Person is survived by her daughters, Jean Person of the home, Judy Hinson of Kinston, Margaret Lancaster of Goldsboro, Rose Grant of Goldsboro, Teresa Beasley of Pikeville and Carla Vick of Pikeville; her sons, Charles Lester Person of Goldsboro, John Person of Goldsboro, Tommy Person of Princeton, Keith Person of Fremont, Gary Person of the home and Jackie Person of Sharpsburg; one sister, Cleo Jones Marlow of Smithfield; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Joseph Person, Danny Beasley, Jr., Gary Lancaster, Jr., Jeffrey Vick, Jr., David Person and Benji Person.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Tommy Person, 3152 Old Smithfield Road, Princeton, NC.
