MAYO BEST SR.
The funeral for Mayo Best Sr. will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church in LaGrange. The Rev. Roosevelt Taylor will officiate.
Mr. Best is survived by four sons, Mayo Best Jr., James Best and Kenneth Best of Washington, D.C., and Wilton Best of Woodbridge, Va.; four daughters, Janice Best of Baltimore, Md., Evelyn Warren of Stafford, Va., Shawnte Best of Pikeville and Pauline Swinson of LaGrange; one brother, Claude Gray Jr. of Raleigh; and 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 8 today at LaGrange Mortuary.
