JACQUELYN BATTS

Jacquelyn Hall Batts, 68, of 840 Hwy. 111 South, Chinquapin, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church. The Rev. David Amon will officiate. Burial will be in Batts Cemetery.

Mrs. Batts was born in Cumberland County and was the daughter of the late James and Annie Cameron Hall. She was the widow of Roger Batts and was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Doris Batts of Chinquapin; two sons, Roger Lee Batts of Dumfries, Va., James Hall Batts and wife, Mandy, of St. Augustine, Fla.; two granddaughters, Kelsey Elizabeth Batts of Dumfries, Va., and Edin Sienna Batts of St. Augustine, Fla.; one grandson, Damien Batts of St. Augustine, Fla.; one brother, James Hall and wife, Carolyn, of Greenville, S.C.; sister-in-law, Beatrice Amon and husband, John, of Goldsboro; brother-in-law, John Beacham and wife, Laurie, of Annandale, Va.

The family will receive friends at the church during the hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday.

Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace is serving the family.
