DOROTHY AYCOCK
FREMONT -- Dorothy Sullivan Aycock, 84, of 2023 Hwy. 222 West, died Tuesday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Aycock Family Cemetery. Dr. DeWayne Eakes will officiate.
Mrs. Aycock was a native of Wayne County, born on May 14, 1920, to the late Nathan and Eva Perkins Sullivan.
She is survived by an adopted daughter, Ruby Aycock Howell of Fremont; two nephews, Vernon Sullivan of Finn, Va., and Roy Sullivan of Williamsburg, Va.; three nieces, Elaine Williams of Williamsburg, Va., Peggy Morris of Cary and Carolyn Eakes of Lucama; and two special friends, Joyce Bass of Kenly and Charlotte Aycock of Fremont.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Chester Aycock, and a sister, Louetta Morris.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine St., Fremont.
