DOROTHY WELLS
The funeral for Dorothy Carter Wells, 80, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Quinn-McGowan Funeral Home in Burgaw. The Rev. Nathan Morton will officiate. Burial will be in the Zoar Church Cemetery, Salemburg.
Mrs. Wells died Monday at Woodbury Nursing Home, Hampstead
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Leland, David Earl, of Louisburg, two daughters, Linda of Rocky Point, and Diane of Pennsylvania, three brothers, James of Wallace, Herbert of Dunn, and John D. of Carlsbad, Calif.; and two sisters, Lois Keene of Dunn, and Evelyn Crawford of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
