MAGNOLIA -- The funeral for Helen Ann Davis, 57, of 259 Brinson Road, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at New Christian Chapel Baptist Church in Rose Hill. The Rev. Holland E. Boney will officiate. Burial will be in Brinson Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died Thursday at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Brinson Jr., and is survived by her mother, Verain P. Brinson of Magnolia; two sons, Eddie Richardson Davis of Fayetteville and Kenneth Levon Davis of St. Paul; two brothers, Ronnie G. Brinson of Washington, D.C., and Robert Brinson Jr. of Goldsboro; four sisters, Mary E. Winters of Magnolia, Ruby L. McLaughlin of Washington, D.C. and Bessie Best-Shields of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Connie Brinson of Woodbridge, Va.; and one grandchild.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 7 today at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and the family will receive friends at the residence.
