VIOLA PARKS
Viola Virginia Parks, 79, of 413 Creech St., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Sat-urday at 1 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church. The Rev. Dwight Cannon will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by one son, Comillous Parks of Goldsboro; two daughters, Rochelle Atkins of Goldsboro and Doris Parks Thompson of Santa Clara, Calif.; a special niece, Roberta Dorsey of Rockville, Md., and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
