Lammerdiena "Diena" Nout Singleton, 69, of 111 Glenwood Trail, died Tuesday morning at her home.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cem-etery with the Rev. Doug Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Singleton was born in Buurmalsen, Holland, and was the daughter of the late Teunis Willem Cornelis Nout and Neeltje Gerrigje Nout-van Baaren. She had worked 28 years with Wayne Memorial Hospital and was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Thurman Singleton; her sons, Tony May, and his wife, Tammy, of Cary and Jim May of San Diego, Calif.; three stepdaughters and their husbands, Zanna and Bill Lambie of New Zealand, Debbie and Jack Davis of Ohio and Dottie and Chris Taylor of Bunn; two stepsons and their wives, W.T. and Robin Singleton of Chesterfield, Va., and George and Joan Singleton of Chester, Va.; one brother, Cornelis Leendert Nout; and 13 grandchildren.

Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by a brother, Abraham Weijert Nout, and sisters, Teuntje Wilhelmina Cornelia van Veenendall-Nout and Jannie Nout.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service and other times at the residence.
