RUSSELL HOLDEN
WARSAW -- The funeral for Russell Holden, 88, of 106 Lizzie St., will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hines Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Dr. Navarro Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Sam Miller Cemetery.
Mr. Holden died Saturday at Guardian Care Nursing Center in Kenansville.
He was the son of the late Edward and Gussie Holden and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include one son, Russell Holden Jr. of Raleigh; one daughter, Laura Hinton of New Haven, Conn.; one brother, Thurman Holden of Wilson; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Hines Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 327 Prospect St., Warsaw.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
