JESSIE PARKS JR.
Jessie "June" Parks Jr. of Washington, D.C., formerly of the Parkstown community, where he was known as "Hot Dog," died Tuesday, Jan. 11, in Washington.
He is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Parks of Maryland; a son, Jesse Parks of Maryland; his mother, Annie Parks of Newark, N.J.; three brothers, Vance Parks of Maryland, James Edward Marshall Parks and William Parks of Newark, N.J.; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Pope Funeral Home, Forestville Chapel, 5538 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, Md., 20747 (301-568-4100). Burial will be in Maryland.
