ALBERT PERKINS

Albert Nathan Perkins, 90, of 2295 Stevens Mill Road, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Issac Thomas and Mamie Aycock Perkins.

Mr. Perkins was a retired farmer and a member of Falling Creek United Methodist Church where he served as a choir member, former chairman of the Administrative Board, and former Sunday School superintendent.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 until 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 5 p.m., with the Reverends Craig Langston and Paul Perkins officiating. Internment will be Monday morning at 11 at Neuse Cemetery, located on Black Jack Church Road.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Porter Perkins; three daughters, Elaine Perkins of Smithfield, LaVee Coone and husband, Randall, of Goldsboro, and Ann Hunt and husband, Gary, of Baltimore, Md.; one son, Calvin Perkins and wife, Judy, of Goldsboro; one sister, Martha Brown of Laurinburg; three brothers, Theodore Perkins of Greensboro, Kimrey Perkins of Southern Pines, and Kahn Perkins of Laurinburg; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by a brother, Thurman Perkins.
