ED GRAHAM

James Edward "Ed" Graham, 58, of 595 Grantham School Road, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Sampson County, he was the son of Evelyn Raynor Graham of Newton Grove and the late James Lester Graham. He retired from the Xerox Corporation on Sept. 30, 2004, with 30 years of service and was a captain of the Grantham Rescue Squad. He was a former Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America and coached Grantham's Little League baseball teams for 22 years.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Challie Glidewell Graham; one daughter, Angie G. Grantham, and her husband, Robert "Bud" Grantham Jr. of Grantham; one son, Terry Graham, and his wife, Linda, of Grantham; one brother, Dennis Graham of Princeton; three grandchildren, Matthew Graham, Kaysey Grantham and Bo Grantham.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Falling Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ron Varner and the Rev. Frank Sandy officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to Falling Creek Baptist Church, 499 Falling Creek Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
