NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Lynda Sue Parker, 61, died Thursday.
She was a native of Kenly and lived in Goldsboro for many years before moving to Hampton, Va., seven years ago. She attended Grace Fellowship Church.
Her survivors include a daughter, Tracy Parker of North Carolina; sons, Phillip Parker of North Carolina and Stacy Parker of Hampton, Va.; sisters, Edith Walker, Marie Sugg and Becky Tippett, all of North Carolina; brothers, Billy Bass of Georgia and Walter Bass and Nick Rose of North Carolina; and nine grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held in North Carolina.
The family requests that memorials be sent to a favorite charity.
