MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Minister Bernice Jones Warren, 57, of 521 E. Hillsboro St., will be held Monday at 2 p.m.. at St. James Disciples of Christ Church in Mount Olive. Bishop Alton Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.

Mrs. Warren died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.

She was the daughter of the late Roosevelt and Roberta Merritt Jones. She was a minister and was formerly employed as a machine operator with Burlington Industries.

Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Joseph Warren Jr. of the home; two sons, Anthony Warren and Torrio Warren of Mount Olive; two daughters, Antonia King of Greensboro and Karona Bryant of Raleigh; two brothers, Roosevelt Jones of Mount Olive and Wilbert Earl Pigford of Newark, N.J.; one sister, Edna Jones Faison of Wilson; and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence.

The viewing hours will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sunday at Garris Funeral Home.
