JAMES PEARSALL JR.
FAISON -- James Pearsall Jr., 79, of Faison, died Wednesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born in Duplin County to the late James and Cora Nicholson Pearsall and was married to Dorothy Pearsall. He was a member and deacon of Piney Green Free Will Baptist Church and worked as a saw operator at Calypso Plywood.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Rosie Manley of Dudley and Jean Pearsall of Goldsboro; two brothers, Felton Pearsall of Buffalo, N.Y., and Robert Pearsall of Canada; one sister, Myra Outlaw of Mount Olive; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Paulette Spivey of Faison.
Private memorial services will be held under the direction of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
