ERIC LAUGHINGHOUSE
Eric Lee Laughinghouse, 22, formerly of Goldsboro and Smithfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, in St. Paul, Minn.
Born in Wake County on Feb. 4, 1982, he was the son of William B. Laughinghouse Jr. and Linda Chisenhall Laughinghouse of Smithfield. He graduated from Smithfield-Selma Senior High School in 2000 and attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He was a student at the University of St. Thomas Business School in St. Paul and was employed at U.S. Bank.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, William Laughinghouse III of Smithfield, and his maternal grandmother, Mittie Chisenhall of Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 11 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield. Burial will be that afternoon at 3 in Greenleaf Memorial Gardens in New Bern.
The family will be at the church to receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.
