ROBERT FREDERICK
ROSE HILL -- Robert J. Frederick, 85, died Monday at his home.
He was the son of the late John C. and Sudie Frederick of Warsaw and was the widower of Marguerite Kornegay Frederick. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the 350th Field Artillery, and was the owner of Frederick's Furniture of Rose Hill.
He is survived by one son, Robert Jackson Frederick II of Rose Hill; a daughter, Connie F. Frederick of Rocky Point; two sisters, Rachel Baars and Hannah Farmer of Warsaw; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill. The family will receive friends afterward. Burial, which will be private, will be on Tuesday morning at 10 in Pinecrest Cemetery near Warsaw.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
