KATHLEEN STRICKLAND
PRINCETON -- Kathleen Shallington Strickland, 62, of 787 Bugshop Road died Friday afternoon at her home.
Born Sept. 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Franklin Shallington and wife of the late Moses Franklin Strickland.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Mae Taylor.
A funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. The Revs. Dennis Pollock and Paul Rose will officiate. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Parnell Shallington of Princeton; one son, Kenneth Lee Strickland of Warsaw; one daughter, Barbara Strickland Martin of Princeton; three brothers, Wiley Franklin Shallington of Kenly, Thurman Eldridge Shallington of Middlesex, and James Alvin Shallington of Princeton; two sisters, Margaret Wellons and Mary Ruth Roberts, both of Princeton; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will begin receiving friends at 2 p.m. and other times at the home of Barbara Martin, 510 Bugshop Road, in Princeton.
