RUBY B. POPE
WILSON -- Ruby Branch Pope, 90, of Parkwood Village, formerly of Lucama, died Thursday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lucama United Methodist Church. The Reverends Kellie Gallagher-Smith and Charles Robl will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Pope was the widow of Robert Willis Pope.
She is survived by two sons, R.W. "Bob" Pope Jr., and his wife, Susie, of Wilson, and Branch Pope and his wife, Sally, of Rosewood; two grandchildren, Bob Ellis, and his wife, Kristie, of Greensboro, and Will Pope of Wilson; and two great-grandchildren, Gracie and Henry Ellis.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson.
