RAYMOND RUSSELL
Raymond Russell, 83, of 318 Brentwood Drive, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Church of Christ in Mount Olive. The Elder Joseph War-ren Jr. will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Jerusalem Cemetery.
Mr. Russell was born in Wayne County to the late Garfield and Betty Russell. He was married to the late Margaret Greenfield Russell, and was a member of St. James Church of Christ in Mount Olive. He was retired from the Mount Olive Pickle Plant.
He is survived by five daughters, Cheryl Murray of Goldsboro, Janice Clark of the home, Margaret Russell of Goldsboro, Minister Joyce Ford, Minister Brenda McNair of Dudley; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four nephews, and two nieces.
The viewing will be held from 2 until 8 p.m. A wake will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home. The family will receive friends other times at 318 Brentwood Drive in Dudley.
