WARSAW -- The funeral for Christine Faison, 69, of 403 Yancey St., will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Prayer of Faison Evangelistic Center. Bishop Chester Aycock will officiate. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.
Ms. Faison died Friday, Nov. 5, at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
She was the daughter of the late Leslie Faison Sr. and Maude McLamb Faison.
Her survivors include one daughter, Linda Smith of Warsaw; one son, Dr. Ronnie Lee Faison of California; one brother, Hezekiah Faison of Camp Springs, Md.; two sisters, Elouise Jeffery of New York and Gail Faison of Warsaw; and two grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive and the family will be present from 7 until 8 to receive friends. At other times, friends may call at the home of Linda Smith, 137 Maple Tree Lane, Warsaw.
