BERTHA GRAHAM

MAGNOLIA -- The funeral for Bertha M. Graham, of 406 E. Sandy St., will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Holy Church. The Rev. Woodrow Grandy Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Boone Cemetery.

Mrs. Graham died Sunday at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Wilmington.

She was the daughter of the late Walter and Smithie Boone Hardy and was a retired cafeteria manager with the Duplin County Schools.

Surviving are four grandsons, Terrence Graham of Raleigh, Eric Graham of Winston-Salem, Jermaine Jones of Maryland and Kenneth Graham Jr. of Connecticut; two granddaughters, Kimberly Graham of Connecticut and Sylvia Corbett of Jacksonville; two brothers, James T. Boone and William M. Hardy of Magnolia; and seven sisters, Louvenia Alderman of Burgaw, Emma Wooden of Washington, D.C., Christine Collins and Sarah Walker of Magnolia, Doris Green of Maryland, Katie Faison of Warsaw and Rachel Epps of New York.

The viewing hours will be from 2 until 4 p.m. on Friday at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 7 at St. Peter's Holy Church.
