RICHARD WARREN

Richard Allen Warren, 58, died Sunday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

He was a native of Sampson County and was the son of Marie B. Brown of Mount Olive and the late Edward Warren and Robert N. Brown. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was an auto body repairman.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Joda Warren of Clinton; two brothers, David E. Warren and Robert N. Brown, Jr. of Goldsboro; three sisters, Kay Hill of Goldsboro, Bonnie Sue Tucker of Faison and Denise Thornton of Grantham; his maternal grandmother, Maude Bryan Rose of Dudley; two step daughters, Carla King of Clinton and Linda Jackson of Durham.

A private memorial service will be held under, with Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory of Goldsboro handling the arrangements.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
