ERICK LOPEZ
Erick Sebastian Lopez died Monday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Pitt County on Sept. 15, 2004, to Erick Paul & Nicole Parsons Lopez.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. Bishop Harold of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will officiate.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Thomas Michael Turner Jr. of Goldsboro; maternal grandparents, Steven and LaConna Ritchie of Goldsboro; paternal grandparents, Rosario and Maria Lopez of Mexico; aunts and uncles, Mary Beth Hawkins of Goldsboro, George E. Hawkins of Goldsboro, Arturo Castaneda of Goldsboro and Cristina Camarena of Goldsboro; godmother, April Smith of Goldsboro; and a special family friend, Kathy Dugan of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Pitt County Memorial Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, P.O. Box 6028, Greenville, N.C., 27835; or to the Ronald McDonald House of Greenville, 549 Moye Boulevard, Greenville, N.C., 27834-2849.
The family is being served by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
