NELLIE BELL
FAISON -- The funeral for Nellie Ashford Bell, 95, of 650 Junious Lucas Road, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Greater Six Run Baptist Church. The Rev. Leslie Morrisey will officiate. Burial will be in Faison Cemetery.
Mrs. Bell died Saturday at Duplin General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Bell of the home; one daughter, Emma Moore of Fayetteville; five sons, Russell Bell of the home, James Bell of Sanford, Dallas Bell of Turkey and Milton Bell and William Bell of New York City; three foster sons, Calvin Bass of New York, and Alvin Bass and William Bass of Maryland; and 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be today from 3 until 8 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive and the inspirational wake will be held in the chapel from 6 until 8 tonight.
