NINA LANIER
A funeral service for Nina Bell Whitehurst Lanier, 86, of 779 Peter Grant Road, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Jumping Run FWB Church in LaGrange. Elder W.A. Lawson will officiate. Burial will follow in Hines Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Carrie Lanier Kornegay of LaGrange, and Lillie Andrews of Ayden; six sons, Ted Lanier of Rahway, N.J., Roy Chester Lanier, Levie Lanier, William Ralph Lanier, Don Lanier, and Charles Lanier, all of Snow Hill; three sisters, Ader Jane Edwards of Salina, Calif., Ruth Cato, and Sadie Murriell, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held today from 2 until 8 p.m. at LaGrange Mortuary.
