LAUDIS MCDANIEL

CLINTON -- Laudis Levida Warren McDaniel, 87, of 1601 W. Main St., died in Mary Gran Nursing Center Friday.

A funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. at Grove Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Shook officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton Cemetery.

She was born in Sampson County in 1917 to the late Lester Floyd "Claude" and Etta Carter Warren, and was married to the late Edgar Morris McDaniel Sr. Miss. McDaniel was a member of the Grove Park Baptist Church, a homemaker, and was the owner of Whispering Pines Gardens.

She is survived by one daughter, Sueetta Ammons of Fayetteville; two sons, Edgar Morris McDaniel Jr., and Billy McDaniel both of Clinton; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

The family received friends Saturday evening at Royal-Hall Funeral Home from 7 until 9. They will also receive friends at the home of her son, Billy McDaniel, 116 Colonial Drive, Clinton.
