MOUNT OLIVE -- Henderson Davis, 60, of 203 Brentwood Circle in Dudley died Thursday at Sunbridge Rehabilitation in Mount Olive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McIntyre Funeral Home, with Pastor Thurman McCuller Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.

Mr. Davis was born Sept. 2, 1944 in Faro to the late Joseph Davis Sr. and Pearsie Ann Swinson Davis.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Willie Earl Davis.

Surviving him are three sons, Gary Woodard Sr. of the home, DeWayne Davis of Silver Springs, Md., and Wayne Davis of Tacoma, Wash.; one daughter, Consuella Davis-Chikwinya of Puyallup, Wash.; three brothers, Joseph Davis Jr. of Eureka, Johnny Davis of Wilson, and Samuel Davis of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; two sisters, Ethel Ruth Davis, and Lula Mae Davis Mitchell, both of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 7 at McIntyre Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
