ROBERT BARNES
WILSON -- Robert Lee Barnes, 57, of Lucama, died Friday.
The funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Joyner's Funeral Home. The Rev. David Kriger will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mr. Barnes owned and operated Robert's Engines Inc. for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Pennell Barnes; a daughter, Sherri Davis, and son-in-law, Junior, of Fremont; a son, Matthew Barnes, and daughter-in-law, Stephanie, of Lucama; parents, Cecil and Annie Lee Barnes of Fremont; three sisters, Joette Dunn and Linda Willamson of Fremont and Barbara Ann Creech of Goldsboro; and two grandsons, Travis Davis and Trenton Davis.
The family received friends Saturday from 7 until 9 at Joyner's Funeral Home, and other times at 7148 Upper Black Creek Church Road, Lucama.
