FREMONT -- Janie Wooten Adams, 92, of 305 Pender Street, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Fremont Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Holmes officiating.
Miss. Adams is survived by two nieces, Joy Sasser of Fremont and Carrie Brown of Wilson, whom she reared; two nephews, Fertus Whitley of Mount Holly, N.J., and Cle Forte of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one sister-in-law, Annie Mae Wooten of Fremont; 10 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Tuesday from 3 until 9 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 South Tarboro Street, Wilson.
The family will assemble at the residence one hour prior to the service.
