EDNA THOMPSON

The funeral for Edna Earl McKinney Thompson, 64, will be held Saturday at noon at Augusta Chapel Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Md.

She was born in Golds-boro and was the daughter of the late Annie Mae and Floyd Mc-Kinney Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Thompson of the home; one daughter, Barbara McNeil of Waldorf, Md.; four sisters, Novella Carroway-Scott, Geraldine Raynor and Annie Pridgen of Goldsboro and Naomi McKinney of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Amos McKinney of Dudley and Thurman McKinney of Raleigh; and two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

The viewing hours will be from 2 until 8 p.m. today at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
