DOLLY WARD
DUDLEY -- Dolly Mae Johnson Ward, 37, of 104 Nugget Drive, died Thursday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at New Beginning Ministries. Pastors Vera Taylor and Mary Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in the Holloway Family Cemetery.
A native of Arapahoe, Mrs. Ward attended Pamlico County High School and had lived in Wayne County for nine years.
She is survived by her husband, Quentin K. Ward of Dudley; one son, Benjamin Johnson of the home; two daughters, Kykky Johnson and LaTonya Johnson of the home; her mother, Marie Johnson of Arapahoe; two brothers, Ronnie John-son of Arapahoe and Elmo Johnson; and two sisters, Katherine Johnson of Mesic and Julie Badger of Oriental.
The family will receive friends at the home of Marie Johnson, 353 Don Lee Road, Arapahoe.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 6 p.m. today at Oscar's Mortuary in New Bern and from 1 until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
