VICTORIA TEACHEY
Victoria "Sophie" Hooks Teachey, 94, formerly of Goldsboro, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Isabella Geriatric Center in New York City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew "Buddy" Teachey, also from Goldsboro.
Her funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 17, at the Convent Avenue Baptist Church in New York City.
Mrs. Teachey is survived by a nephew, John H. Wooten Sr. (Ernestine) of Goldsboro; a great-nephew, John H. Wooten Jr. (Georgetta), of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a great-niece, Nancy Victoria Wooten Coor (Antonio) of Pinebluff, N.C.; a nephew, James H. Ingram of Jamaica, N.Y.; and a niece, Mary Ruth Teachey Lyons of Goldsboro.
