GEORGE STANCIL
KENLY -- The funeral for George A. "Babe" Stancil, 62, of 3703 Lizzie Mill Road, Selma, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. The Rev. Braxton Creech will officiate. Burial will be in Edwards Cemetery.
Mr. Stancil died Monday at North Carolina Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by three sisters, Emma Wiggs of Selma, Lois Barfield of Lucama and Wanda Wilson of Hampstead; and one brother, Kenneth Stancil of Kenly.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
