CHRISTINE CROCKER
Christine Aycock Crocker, 77, of 786 Grantham School Road, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Langston officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park
Born in Wayne County in the Nahunta Community, Mrs. Crocker was the daughter of the late Ira Frank and Zylphia Evans Aycock. She was a former school teacher with the Wayne County Schools and taught piano lessons in the community for many years. She was a member of Falling Creek United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence C. Crocker; three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Jo Crocker of Fayetteville, Doug and Glenda S. Crocker of Goldsboro and Larry and Janine Crocker of El Sobrante, Calif.; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family request that memorial gifts in lieu of flowers be directed the Falling Creek United Methodist Church, 299 Falling Creek Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will greet friends at the home in the Grantham Community.
