BESSIE JOHNSON
Bessie Ray Johnson, 65, of 3346 Hwy. 70 West, died Sunday at her residence.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Berry House and the Rev. Bobby Dickinson officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Claude and Lola Simmons Ray. She attended Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Johnson; a daughter, Lola Creech of Manassas, Va.; a son, Dale Champlin of Raleigh; a sister, Betty Minear of Buffalo, Mo.; and two granddaughters, Ashley Nicole Creech and Lindsey Erin Creech.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Tuesday night.
