ARTHUR CYRUS
ROSE HILL -- Arthur Gene Cyrus died Friday at Duplin General Hospital.
He was a native of Lenoir County and was the son of the late Grant and Nannie Mae Grady Cyrus.
He is survived by two sons, Arthur Lanier of Rose Hill and Perry Lanier of Fayetteville; one brother, Grant Cyrus of Rose Hill; four sisters, Peggie Graham and Brenda Cyrus of Rose Hill, Bernice McLean
of Beulaville and Margie Mitchell of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren.
The funeral was held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Matthews Funeral Chapel, Wallace, with the Rev. MacAfee Bannerman officiating. Burial was in Pauline Branch Memorial Cemetery, Pink Hill.
